I absolutely LOVED Dr. Privitera! He was one of the most wonderful Dr.'s I have ever known. I trusted him and he never let me down. I remember when I got an infection and wanted to heal it holistically. I hadn't seen him in a while and called the office. I was desperate. Without hesitation he gave me the holistic cure and within hours I was well on my way to recovery. HE WAS AMAZING!!!

I was stunned to hear he had passed. He was far too young and full of life. My sincere condolences to his family. This is a huge loss for all.

I was so surprised and sad to hear of Dr. Privitera's death. My husband and I became patients about 35 years ago when we had health problems that other doctors could not treat. He had us well in no time and he became our regular doctor for many years until we moved to Montana. We have continued to take his recommended supplements all these years and owe our good health to him. My heart goes out to Gail and their families and I hope that time will heal their pain.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of the death of the man that God sent to save my life and sanity. I was diagnosed 30 years ago with severe hypothyroidism. I was taking pharmaceutical meds and still not feeling normal. At a bible study a person that I didn't know came up to me and said " The Lord told me to tell you to see this Dr.!" I immediately called and thus started my 29 year journey back to health with Dr. P. I've always said that he saved my life and now sadly for us that remain his life here on earth is over. I look forward to seeing him in heaven where there is no sickness. It was always a joy to see him on my yearly visits what a sweet, funny, caring man. On my last visit we were marveling at how the time had flown by. I was a young mother with 2 little ones in tow and now I'm a grandmother! Thanks be to God and Dr. P. that I have survived thus far! God bless you Jim and your family. Until we meet again....

I remember hearing about Dr. Privitera over 35 years ago. My college boyfriend's father had severe asthma. He said that the only person who ever helped him was Dr. Privitera. Im sure that he lived a full life because of his care.My sister was under his care for years and helped her through some rough times. He will be missed and was well respected by many. We won't see another Dr. like him again. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.

Of all the doctors I've visited in my lifetime, none of them have come close to having the knowledge, the passion, and the skill that Dr. P had. He had a real gift for knowing the most gentle but effective ways of treating people's illnesses. During my visits with him, we would talk for long periods of time, and it was always like seeing an old friend. I only wish that I had known of his passing sooner so that I could have attended his service. He was a true gift to the planet and will be greatly missed.

Of all the places to learn of Dr. Privitera's homegoing to be with the Lord – the health food store. I spoke so much to the health/vitamin clerks about how he helped me overcome migraines in the 80's that I'd had for nearly 10 years - Kyolic EPA. And, just 2 hours before learning of Dr. P's passing today, I was sharing this same information with a friend, as she has been suffering from migraines for nearly a month now. I told her all about Dr. P and his wonderful platform of assisting patients with alternative/complementary methodologies. As I'm standing in line to check out, one of the clerks tapped me on the shoulder saying, “I just thought about you the other day. A customer came into the store and said he was a patient of Dr. Privitera's. And, I remember you telling me about him. Well, the customer told me that he passed away”. I was shocked, stunned! I stood there frozen, yet raving about the “good” that he had done while here on earth, and how I had just told a friend about him. I mean he went all-the-way when it came to what he truly believed in and stood for. He let the evidence of ‘testing' and ‘research' speak for itself! He earnestly extended himself greatly to help so many people. His heart was truly in his work. What a dedicated man to such an honorable call and cause – to assist and educate the masses in the healing process. And, Jesus said upon speaking about a parable in Matthew 25:21, “Well done my good and faithful servant”. :-) Blessings to the Privitera family.

I'm in shock, I just found out today that Dr. Privitera passed away. The last time I saw him he was his usual cheery, funny self. You could not tell he was ill. This is such an incredible loss; he will be a hard act to follow. You could tell he had so much concern for his patients by the little things he did which other doctors just don't do. He was my doctor for 16 years. I don't think I've gone to any other doctor that long. Who else would I trust? My heart goes out to his family, this is such a huge loss for them.

I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Privitera's passing. I saw him three weeks before his death at Palermo's Pizza. He looked well and he always took time to say hello and inquire how I was doing. He was a great Doctor and always put his patients first. In the early 80's he treated me for severe asthma...He advised me of how to control it by using proper vitamins and supplements. I still take them to this day and I haven't had a severe attack. Intelligent, kind, knowlegable, pioneer in his field and a truly great man. I know there are no words to take the pain away. My heart goes out to Gail and family. His zest for life was so refreshing. He is gone tooo soon, we will always treasure his memory. Rest in peace Dr. Privitera.

P.S. Esther from Palermo's Pizza sends her condolences also.

I'm forever greatful that God put Dr. Privitera in my life for the last 18 years as my doctor, friend, confidence builder and listening ear when lifes stresses overwhelmed my mind and body. He was like a second father to me. He blessed me with "right now" solutions. I know in my heart that he saved my life on many occasions and my mother's life last year when I convinced her to drive down with me from Washington state to get a second oppinion from Dr. Privitera. He always explained everything until you could understand why you should follow his advise. He was Outstanding this way. He prevented my mom from making a uninformed decision. This gave me back my mom and she's still alive and well today. The Martin family is greatful to Gail and James for having thier practice. Your possitive impact will never be forgotten.. I pray that God's peace cover's the entire Privitera Family until they see James again in heaven.

Warmly,

I met Dr. P over 10 yrs ago. He knew exactly how to treat my health issues when others couldn't. As time went on I was on maintenance and would go in to get my supplements and shots. He would pull me into his office to tell about everything from politics to the state of the economy and etc. He also had links that he wanted me check out. I never cared that I had a little drive to get to his office. He was an awesome Doctor and an incredible human being. My prayers and thoughts are with his family, friends and employees. Today's service was beautiful.

When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world, and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People disappear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put he sun to bed, wake up the grass, and put the earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day-time, when they're supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing wind songs

they whisper to us, don't miss me too much. The view is nice and I'm doing just fine.

He loved his wife, his family, his patients and mankind. I was proud to call him a friend. I was a patient of Dr. Privitera several years and moved to Florida in 2007 . What a beloved man and doctor! Such a Prince. He was so gracious and loving. He truly loved and cared for his patients, always smiling. Miss him. I keep sending him emails. I just found out a few moments ago that he passed. Now he is safe with Jesus, the greatest healer of all time.

Dr. Privitera has helped me and others I know defeat a variety of conditions WITH natural remedies! Traditional Western Medicine had its valuable (limited) place. Try alternative medicine first through Dr. Privitera... I was glad I did!
